I wanted to take some time and give you a little feedback in regards to the Lissmac deburring machine. It has been three months since the install and we are very satisfied of the quantity, quality and the fact that we were actually off in our calculations of how many hours a week this machine would be working. We went from three to four employees who would manually deburr for 8 hours to simply one 8 hour operator on the Lissmac and even then we had capacity to pass other parts that we wouldn't normally deburr. It has given us the opportunity to give our clients well deburred parts 100% of the time with no missed holes, notches or edges thus reducing non conformities. It was a good purchase that we come to realize how easily we can advance and at the same time create capacity, all the while we didn't cut any positions as the personnel who were deburring have now been relocated to other positions.
I just felt I needed to tell you how happy we are with this Lissmac and would recommend it to anyone in the sheet metal business.

It is with my most sincere thanks that this letter comes to you and your wonderful staff. Two days ago we had a most UN-timely breakdown on our Haegar 824 press. Not only was your staff courteous but also most efficient in the handling of our needs in the quick diagnosis of the problem but also the time frame in which we received the replacement parts (the next day). In addition to the support staff in California to help me replace said parts. I cannot emphasize enough my thanks to you and your team in preventing what could have been a missed shipment to one of our largest customers (Agilent technologies) a division of Hewlett Packard.

Bringing Costa dross cleaning machine was a good decision and it has been proven now after running the machine in our daily operation in 2 shifts from last 8 months. No doubt the manhours has been reduced considerably on cleaning the parts which used to be done manually in the past in 3 shifts. From the time we went up and see the machine in Fabtech and then did the actual trial in North Carolina Facility with the actual product and finally machine ending and installed on our floor , I have to say that there services are fantastic and very prompt. Few times the need came for service in last 8 months and Costa associates react in a very timely fashion to get the machine back in operation with lowest possible down time. Customers now always look for parts ran through this machine due to finishing quality of the product and we have went down by 4 cleaning operators in dross cleaning operation and relocate those employees in other areas, in addition to that we even now have more open capacity to handle more parts with less manpower.
Strongly convinced with the machine performance and serviceability and I can simply say it’s a very suitable piece of equipment for any heavy fabrication industry.
We purchased a Geka 55SD Ironworker a number of years ago from Neiman and we were pleased with their approach to handling any import factors and their timely delivery of the machine once it landed here in Canada. The windows based interface is user friendly and our staff received top notch training from Neiman’s technicians once the machine was installed. We would recommend this machine along with Neiman’s implementation expertise to other fabricators…but not to our competition!
